Consulting - Regulatory Compliance COE – Senior

As part of our Consulting practice, we are looking for a detail-oriented consulting professional to support execution of regulatory compliance engagements, including compliance monitoring, internal audit procedures, and development of regulatory databases within the Compliance COE.

The role will focus on day-to-day delivery, documentation, and analysis of regulatory requirements, working closely with Managers and Senior Managers on client engagements and internal COE initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor regulatory changes: monitor new regulations/changes to existing regulations across focus industries. Develop regulatory compliance libraries / databases categorized by industry, geography, and regulatory applicability
  • Lead client delivery for regulatory change management: assist in interpretation of regulations, defining obligation listing to comply with regulations, and mapping them to process-level risks and controls
  • Regulatory risk assessments and audits: Perform internal audit and compliance testing procedures. Execute compliance monitoring activities, including checklists, testing templates and documentation
  • Support creation of templates, compliance frameworks, and reusable COE assets
  • Adherence to quality standards: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of workpapers, control documentation, and audit evidence.
  • Client deliverables: Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for compliance reviews and client deliverables
  • Team member: Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and workstreams

  • Basic understanding of regulatory compliance, risk and internal controls
  • Ability to document processes, controls and compliance requirements in a structured manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to organize information logically
  • Professional certification (CCEP/CFE/CIPP/CA/CS /CIA/CISA) preferred (degree in Business, Accounting, or work experience in risk and internal audit team of Big 4 preferred).
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work under supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Proven competence for meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and managing work under ambiguity/uncertainty (e.g., changing factors, limited information)
  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis & validation
  • Comfort working with data, trackers, and compliance documentation tools
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively in order to achieve optimum results

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Business, Law, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit, compliance, or consulting
  • Basic experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory tracking, or internal audit support
  • Exposure to internal controls, audit testing, or compliance documentation
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements (industry exposure is a plus)
  • Experience in supporting teams or projects is preferred
  • Experience in documentation, process flows, and control mapping is preferred

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Exposure to compliance tools, regulatory databases, or audit tools
  • Basic understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, IFC, regulatory compliance programs, etc.)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to think differently and innovate
