Retail Banking and Wealth (RB&W) Business Risk Management, Fraud and Credit Control – RB&W Business Risks and Resilience

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as RB&W CDD Assistant Manager

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the Private Banking Frontline as a CDD Case Preparer, including QC, advice, and guidance to meet the Bank’s KYC due diligence requirements during complex onboarding and ongoing reviews.
  • Keep EDD profiles to a high standard, making sure the work is audit-ready for QA checks and internal/external audits.
  • Troubleshoot issues and unblock cases so account openings and reviews are completed on time, delivering a smooth customer experience while staying fully compliant with policy and regulatory expectations.
  • Work closely with key partners (RB&W business units, Financial Crime Compliance, and onshore/offshore KYC ops) to support CDD delivery—covering quality calibration/monitoring, performance issue fixes, and MI reporting.
  • Manage complex EDD cases and deliver central BRR-CDD responsibilities, supporting regulatory actions and EDD remediation.


Requirements

  • Strong team player with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Comfortable handling a busy workload and prioritising tasks when things get hectic
  • Degree-qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Technology
  • Solid understanding of AML, regulations, and compliance across banking and financial services
  • Confident writer, able to produce clear governance papers and reports
  • Strong research, communication, and stakeholder skills
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), with the ability to write reports and clearly understand source of wealth narratives
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
