Retail Banking and Wealth (RB&W) Non-Financial Risk – RB&W Business Risks and Resilience

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as RB&W CDD Assistant Manager

Principal responsibilities

• Support HASE RB&W local CDD processes to help reduce financial crime risk, in line with LoBP requirements and local management direction. This includes ad-hoc and scheduled data extraction, plus reviewing and remediating Subjects of Interest
• Deliver BAU CDD as the local CDD system SME, supporting change releases and proactively identifying, resolving, and remediating incidents and issues
• Work closely with key stakeholders (RB&W Business Units, Financial Crime Compliance, and onshore/offshore KYC operations) to enable strong CDD delivery, including quality calibration and monitoring, resolving operational performance issues, and producing MI reporting
• Manage complex Retail EDD cases and fulfil BRR-CDD centralised responsibilities, supporting regulatory actions and EDD remediation activity

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Technology
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services, ideally in regulatory, compliance, or operational risk roles
• Strong knowledge of AML and CDD within a Retail Banking and Wealth environment
• Confident written and spoken English, able to work through ambiguity and explain complex issues clearly and simply
• Data analysis skills are an advantage (e.g., SQL, Excel macros/VBA)
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
