Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students for the school year.

Hourly Rate Range: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior support plans and skill-building programs under the direction of a qualified RBT supervisor.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, as assigned.
• Use positive reinforcement and other approved strategies to help students develop communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
• Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress and share it with the supervising clinician and school team.
• Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and respond to challenging behaviors using approved school procedures and training.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families as appropriate.
• Support students’ participation in classroom activities while promoting independence.
• Maintain confidential records and complete required documentation on time.
• Participate in required supervision, training, and team meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Ability to meet the BACB’s ongoing supervision requirements.
• Experience supporting children or students with disabilities or behavioral needs, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to collect data accurately and follow written behavior support plans.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks, fingerprinting, and school onboarding requirements.
• Ability to meet any applicable Colorado paraprofessional qualifications if the assignment includes instructional support duties in a Title I schoolwide program.
