The Production & Warehouse Operations Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of a chemical distribution and manufacturing facility. This role supports chemical blending, packaging, warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, inventory movement, and ERP transaction processing. The position requires a hands-on employee capable of safely managing multiple operational functions within a small facility environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse Operations
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using appropriate material handling equipment
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas
Prepare outbound shipments and coordinate carrier pickups
Verify incoming and outgoing materials against shipping documentation
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and production areas
ERP & Logistics Coordination
Process outbound shipments and inventory transactions within the ERP system
Coordinate freight pickups with carriers and transportation providers
Assist with inventory tracking and material movement documentation
Support operational reporting and recordkeeping activities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, distribution, warehouse operations, or industrial production preferred
Ability to safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials
Forklift experience a must
Basic computer and ERP system experience preferred
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, loading, and unloading materials
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently in a small-team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Industrial chemical manufacturing and warehouse environment
Exposure to chemicals, forklifts, and industrial equipment
Use of PPE required in designated areas
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma
Industrial Operations / Manufacturing
Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations
Relevant certifications are a plus but not required, such as:
OSHA safety training
Hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT)
Forklift certification

This position works in an enclosed building that is subject to variances in temperatures, extreme heat in summer, and colder temperatures in winter. This position frequently lifts, pushes, pulls or carries up to 50 pounds of product. This position can work various hours.
