Responsibilities:
Contribute to a collaborative team environment that stimulates continuous innovation and embraces technological advancement in credit analysis
Provide highest level of customer service and responsiveness
Communicate with a professional voice,demonstratingstrong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
Develop andmaintainoutstanding internal and external relationships
Conduct research and prepare documents and presentations for rating committees,utilizingboth traditional analysis and AI-assisted data processing tools
Support Senior Analysts during analytical process
Maintain rigorous data quality standards and ensure accuracy of financial statement analysis
Manage multiple tasks effectively while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Comply withquality standards and compliance policies
Assistin the collection and analysis of data on special projects
Work with analysts to publish periodic thought leadership articles
All employees must work from the office at least 2 days/week
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject withstrong foundationin financial analysis
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have1+ years of experience in credit analysisin corporates, infrastructure, local and regionalgovernmentsand structured finance
Strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial statement analysis
Must be able to quickly absorb, analyze, and act upon information, whiledemonstratingstrongproficiencywith quantitative data and emerging analytical technologies
Strong communicationskills (verbal and written) in both Spanish and English arerequired
Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Aptitude for expanding, learning, and passion for contributing
Must be highly organized
Final-stage candidates must attend one in-person interview at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office before offer.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of financial modeling and financial forecasting, including familiarity with automated modeling tools and data analytics platforms
Experience with data analysis software such as Excel, Python, R, or similar analytical tools
Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in financial analysis and credit risk assessment
Familiarity with database management and data visualization tools commonly used in the financial services industry
