Provide expert strategic guidance and oversee multiple Rare Diseases Medical Affairs activities. Ensure collaboration, compliance, and delivery of impactful scientific and operational outcomes. May mange Rare Diseases Medical Affairs team.
Typical Accountabilities
• Lead and manage Medical Affairs activities across multiple products, markets, or therapy areas to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence within Medical Affairs.
• Provide strategic scientific support for key processes, projects, and evidence generation initiatives.
• Oversee the launch and execution of clinical trials, market access activities, and scientific communications.
• Represent Medical Affairs at external events and build partnerships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
• Deliver educational and training programs to enhance Medical Affairs expertise and capabilities.
• Review and approve research protocols, study proposals, and scientific publications to ensure quality and compliance.
• Interpret and integrate medical evidence to support product value messaging and organizational goals.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance standard for all Medical Affairs activities.
• Incorporate patient insights into strategies, documents, and development plans to enhance patient-centricity.
• Stay abreast of best practices, trends, and developments in Medical Affairs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead team by developing, mentoring, and empowering team members to build high-performing Medical Affairs teams, promote professional growth, and create a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
