
Role: Rapid Response Organizer, Climate Action Campaign
Timeline: We are hiring an organizer for this position beginning August 4th, lasting through September 8th.

With an on-the-ground presence in communities all across the country, our world-class team runs successful civic engagement campaigns to build a future that's fairer, healthier, safer, and more peaceful for everyone. We are excited to engage members of the community to advocate for climate action and a stronger democracy.
General Overview: The Rapid Response Organizer will work in close coordination with the Climate Action Campaign’s national campaigns team to build grassroots power in their congressional district. Organizers will execute a rigorous campaign plan that integrates volunteer recruitment, petitioning, rapid response event organizing, coalition building, and digital engagement – all aimed at mobilizing constituents to take action to defend and protect climate solutions. Organizers will be expected to lead from the front by canvassing themselves, moving volunteers through the leadership pipeline, and hitting the ground running.

Organize High-Volume Visibility Events
Drive Campaign Actions
Manage Digital Campaign, Data Management, and Reporting Tools

Salary, Benefits and Perks:
The salary for this position is $58,000-72,000 annually. Salary is determined through an equity calculator. As part of The Outreach Team's commitment to compensation equity and transparency, we have a no negotiation policy. Salary negotiations can introduce bias and perpetuate wage inequality. At the end of the campaign, there may be opportunities for advancement. We do offer a monthly cell phone stipend of $50.
