Job Specific Working Conditions:
The Young Life ministry in Rapid City is seeking two Mission Staff team members to help grow and strengthen Young Life ministry among high school students throughout the community. These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about relational ministry, discipleship, and helping adolescents encounter Jesus Christ in authentic and life-changing ways.
Mission Staff will build meaningful relationships with high school students through consistent contact work, help lead and develop volunteer leaders, support club and campaigners, participate in camp ministry, and collaborate closely with the local ministry team to expand ministry impact across Rapid City. These roles will play an active part in creating healthy ministry systems, supporting leaders, and helping students feel known, valued, and connected.
We’re looking for people who are relational, dependable, spiritually grounded, and excited to invest deeply in both students and leaders. Ideal candidates enjoy working on a team, taking initiative, and engaging the community through schools, churches, parents, and supporters. These positions offer meaningful leadership development, hands-on ministry experience, and the opportunity to help shape the future of Young Life ministry in Rapid City.
