Job Description:

  • Ensure delivery of system and subsystem Signaling solution in compliance with Signaling system and subsystem requirements, and in accordance with quality and project schedule.
  • Guarantee the definition of the Signaling system and subsystem Validation Test Specification and the implementation of the Signaling system and subsystem V&V activities according to the RAMS governance directions and to the Company processes and guidelines.
  • Ensure delivery of project V&V documents at Signaling system and subsystem levels in cooperation with the other functions: RAMS, Engineering, Operation & Maintenance and external suppliers.
  • Support V&V activities through participation to projects, bidding and delivery phases: Signaling system and subsystem V&V planning, attendance to design reviews with suppliers, attendance to the field tests.
  • Ensure that subsystems suppliers provide V&V evidence.
  • Ensure the delivery of the Signaling system and subsystem V&V report.
  • Ensure the proper level of independence in the definition and implementation of the Signaling system and subsystem V&V activities in compliance with applicable standards and SILs.
  • Ensure technical support to RAMS Managers for management and interface of Independent Safety Assessor, Employer and External Authorities.。
  • Ensure the definition of the requirements and expected features for the testing environments/tools, needed to execute the Signaling system and subsystem Validation activities.。
  • Support the review of safety policy and safety targets
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with national and international standards
  • Support the definition and development of RAMS Plans
  • Assist in identifying and apportioning RAMS requirements for applications
  • Support system requirements analysis to verify compliance with safety and customer requirements
  • Assist in Safety and RAMS analysis using domain knowledge gained from testing activities
  • Support the execution of Hazard Analyses at the architectural level
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of documentation required for Safety Cases
  • Support the management of Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) and certification (NoBo) processes
