Job Description

As the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all below-wing loading and unloading activities, the responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the Ramp Control Centre, gate staff, baggage unit, load control, tow tug operator, and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) using a walkie talkie or company phone.
  • Ensuring aircraft safety by adhering to the Load Instruction Report (LIR) and Flight Load Data (FLD) for accurate weight and loading compliance.
  • Efficiently managing manpower to handle aircraft within Precision Time Sequence (PTS) for arrivals and departures.
  • Cross-training for passenger load bridges (PLB) docking and headset duties for arriving and departing aircraft.
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for multiple airlines during arrival and departure procedures.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively in English with the PIC and other POCs as required during duty.
