Our division is responsible for creating customer touchpoints through offline channels and driving business growth, with a primary focus on the operation of Rakuten Mobile shops. Our shops are more than just points of contract; they serve as the "front line of customer engagement," playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience by offering a cross-section of Rakuten Group services, including telecommunications, fintech, and e-commerce.
The Shop Operations Section serves as the "strategic hub" for retail operations. We oversee everything from the development of our physical store network and backend call center functions to the product development of systems and devices that streamline in-store operations.
Within the Shop Construction & Maintenance Group, we lead the optimization of design and construction for store rollouts and manage the entire lifecycle of our store infrastructure. Beyond mere maintenance, our mission is to establish a highly reproducible store-opening scheme by accumulating and standardizing knowledge from rollout projects. Our ultimate goal is to provide an optimal environment for both our customers and "R CREW" (employees) by creating attractive stores through strategic design, maintenance, and the effective use of equipment and fixtures.
With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, we need to strengthen our organizational structure to drive new store openings stably and with high quality, while optimizing the management of facilities, fixtures, and repairs for both new and existing stores. As shops are critical customer touchpoints, balancing rollout speed, construction quality, and cost optimization while continuously maintaining an attractive store environment is directly linked to our business growth. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who can take on design and construction management for new openings, as well as the standardization of shop infrastructure and repair processes, to strengthen our foundation for reproducible store construction and operation.
In this position, you will contribute to optimizing the overall store infrastructure and building a stable operational foundation through design and construction management for new Rakuten Mobile shops, procurement and management of facilities/fixtures, and the standardization of repair processes.
