Job Description

Department Overview

Our department focuses on operating Rakuten Mobile shops, serving as a core driver for business growth by creating customer touchpoints through physical channels. These shops are not merely locations for signing contracts; they act as the "front line of customer engagement" where we offer cross-service solutions-including telecommunications, fintech, and e-commerce-across the Rakuten Group, playing a vital role in supporting our brand experience.

The Store Operations Division serves as a "strategic hub" for our physical store network. Specifically, the Store Development & Management Group is responsible for planning and executing the store opening strategies that form the foundation of our business growth, as well as managing lease agreements for existing locations. Beyond simple property selection, we drive the sustainable expansion of our store network by negotiating terms to maximize ROI, standardizing the entire store-opening process, and leveraging technology to build robust property management systems.

Why We Hire

With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, we need to strengthen our team to handle property site selection, negotiations with owners and developers, lease contract management, and the development of property management systems. The Store Development & Management Group plays a critical role that goes beyond securing properties; it involves making investment decisions based on ROI, standardizing opening processes, and streamlining management operations. We are looking for individuals who, regardless of specific experience in store development or real estate, can support sustainable network expansion through stakeholder coordination, information organization, and business process improvement.

- Systematization of business processes related to store openings.
