We are seeking an experienced and accountable Terminal Operations Supervisor to lead safe. High-performing operations at our St Peters Terminal.

The St Peters Terminal is a critical operational site, responsible for coordinating rail movements, managing materials, and ensuring safe and efficient day‑to‑day terminal activities

As a key leader on site, you will oversee daily rail operations, set clear expectations, and lead a diverse team of operators while embedding a strong safety‑led and performance‑driven culture.

Reporting to the Terminals Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the safe, efficient and productive operation of the terminal, holding yourself and the team accountable for behaviours, standards and outcomes.

This role will suit a solutions‑focused people leader with a strong commitment to safety and a genuine interest in building a positive, engaged and high‑performing team. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity (Monday to Friday, day shift), with potential for shift work in the future.

Your day will involve:

  • Leading, coaching and supervising employees and contractors to deliver safe and efficient operations
  • Ensuring full compliance with Boral’s safety and environment management systems, policies and procedures
  • Actively influencing and role modelling a strong safety culture, where risks are identified, addressed and reported
  • Delivering clear and effective daily toolbox talks and completing shift handover reports
  • Coordinating quality control processes and stock inventory
  • Coordinating mechanical maintenance activities and liaising with relevant stakeholders
  • Driving accountability, consistency and performance standards across the team

What are we looking for?

  • Proven supervisory leadership experience in an operational or industrial environment, with a track record of fostering accountability, teamwork and a positive site culture
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe working practices
  • High levels of accountability with strong decision‑making and follow‑through
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Effective communication and relationship‑building skills
