We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Raffles Butler to join our luxury hospitality team in Udaipur, India. As a Raffles Butler, you will be at the heart of our residents' service experience, orchestrating seamless and personalized interactions from pre-arrival through departure. This role demands a professional who combines exceptional service standards with genuine empathy, creating memorable experiences through attentive listening, keen observation, and intuitive anticipation of resident needs. You will serve as an ambassador of our hotel, well-versed in all service areas and committed to delivering emotional luxury at every touchpoint.

  • Execute core butler responsibilities including customized check-in procedures, suite setup, suite orientation, welcome beverage service, and personalized itinerary and dining recommendations
  • Anticipate and intuitively respond to residents' needs and preferences through careful observation and meaningful interactions
  • Orchestrate celebrations of special occasions and coordinate in-suite experiences that exceed expectations
  • Manage daily amenities delivery, respond promptly to resident calls and emails, and facilitate seamless departure arrangements
  • Perform in-room services including unpacking, packing, laundry coordination, shoe-shine service, and in-suite dining support
  • Resolve resident feedback and concerns with professionalism, escalating appropriately to the Head Butler when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with housekeeping, in-suite dining, and front office teams to ensure cohesive service delivery
  • Maintain service standards aligned with luxury hospitality benchmarks and property-specific Standard Operating Procedures
  • Promote hotel facilities, restaurants, and services through effective communication with residents
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information
  • Adhere to workplace safety and health policies and support team members in maintaining compliance

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management, or equivalent hospitality education
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in butler service, luxury hospitality, or high-end guest services
  • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual capabilities are highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills with the ability to build genuine connections
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with a service-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with computer systems and property management software
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in guest-facing situations
  • High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to changing guest preferences and requests
  • Knowledge of luxury amenities, services, and international hospitality standards
