Job Description

Top Choice Inspectors is seeking a licensed Radon Measurement Technician to support our growing inspection team in the Colorado Springs / Pikes Peak market. This role is responsible for the timely drop-off, placement, retrieval, and documentation of radon measurement devices for residential properties.

The Radon Measurement Technician manages the full cycle of radon test deployment and retrieval. The technician ensures all devices are placed and collected in accordance with state regulations, EPA protocols, and company standards.

In addition, this candidate must hold MLS access credentials for the Pikes Peak region, allowing for efficient property access and scheduling coordination.

Required Credentials

• Active Radon Measurement License (State of Colorado)
• MLS Access Credentials – Pikes Peak Region
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass background check (if required for MLS compliance)

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up radon test orders and coordinate scheduling with internal team
• Travel to residential properties to:
• Properly place radon measurement devices
• Ensure correct placement per EPA and state guidelines
• Educate homeowners or agents on the testing process when needed
• Retrieve devices within required timeframes
• Accurately document chain-of-custody and testing details
• Upload reports and data into company systems promptly
• Maintain radon equipment in proper working condition
• Ensure strict compliance with all state radon measurement regulations

Compensation
This position offers a pay structure that rewards productivity.

Base Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Additional:
$10.00 per radon box drop-off
$10.00 per radon box pick-up

Each completed radon test cycle provides the opportunity to earn $20.00 in additional compensation ($10 at placement and $10 at retrieval), on top of hourly pay

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and transport radon equipment
• Frequent driving between properties
• Ability to enter crawlspaces or basements when necessary
