Radiology Triage RN
24 Hours Weekly, Part Time, Dayshift (3 days a week/every fourth weekend coverage)
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking to hire a part time Radiology Triage Nurse. The registered nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process for assigned patients while delivering care within the scope of professional nursing practice. In this role, the RN completes and documents patient information in Epic as needed, obtains health histories, and provides patient education related to radiologic procedures and treatments. The nurse performs routine and ongoing assessments, evaluates patient and family understanding of health conditions, and develops individualized, age-specific plans of care. Responsibilities also include implementing physician orders, assisting radiologists, and performing clinical duties such as medication administration, IV therapy, moderate sedation, select blood product administration, and other treatments in accordance with departmental policies and nursing standards.
Requirements:
Active Kentucky RN License.
Cardiac Monitor experience preferred but not required.
BCLS and ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
