We are a supportive, collaborative imaging team where you’ll care for patients across all ages, perform a variety of exams, and grow your skills through CT cross-training.

How you’ll contribute

A Radiology Technician who excels in this role:

  • Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required.
  • Completes testing in a professional and safe manner.
  • Completes annual required education.
  • Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
  • Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Assists physician in administering opaque media.
  • Practices sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination.
  • Maintains professional skills and provides age-specific needs to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescents and geriatric).
  • Follows safety procedures and guidelines and reports unsafe practices or conditions.
  • Participates in peer competencies.
  • Must identify patients using two patient identifiers.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding patient/employee information.
  • Provide appropriate care to patients of all ages (neonates to geriatrics).
  • Performs all calibrations, quality control, instrument function verification and minor troubleshooting according to section’s procedure manual.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should be a Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology. Additional requirements include:

  • ARRT/ASRT and RT-CT Licensure.
  • Licensure in CT within 1 year of hire.
  • Cat Scan experience or willing to train in Cat Scan.
