What You'll Do

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing compassionate, professional care to patients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered.
  • Operate portable radiographic equipment when needed.
  • Apply your knowledge and technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Follow infection-control practices and Universal Precautions.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and technical skill in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program through an AMA-approved school or an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Broad educational background in Diagnostic Radiology.

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years of experience in related radiology fields.
