The Radiology Staff Nurse II cares for adult and pediatric patients receiving imaging services in MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology. They assess patients before procedures, administer medications, monitor vital signs and sedation when needed, and respond to complications that may arise. The Radiology Staff Nurse II collaborates closely with radiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care while educating patients and families, coordinating services, and promoting comfort and safety throughout the imaging experience, from preparation through recovery and discharge.

Schedule:

This is a per diem position, with no set or committed hours; however, the Radiology Staff Nurse II can anticipate working a schedule which could include 8 to 10-hour shifts on Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am - 6:30pm, depending on which imaging modality is being covered.

EDUCATION:

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. ADN required, BSN preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Greater than one year of experience.

This is a bargaining union position.
