The Radiology Services Product Manager is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing management of the organization’s Enterprise Imaging Platform. This role serves as the primary operational and product lead for radiology imaging systems and related workflows, including PACS, RIS, worklist configuration, image sharing services, external provider access, and other platform administration activities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical systems knowledge with workflow expertise, stakeholder management, and a service-oriented approach to support radiologists, imaging departments, referring providers, and clinical operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage and administer the Enterprise Imaging Platform, including PACS, RIS, and related imaging applications.
  • Oversee day-to-day system configuration, maintenance, support, and optimization of radiology imaging workflows.
  • Configure and maintain worklists, routing rules, user roles, permissions, and other platform settings to support clinical and operational needs.
  • Administer image sharing services, including internal and external access workflows for providers, partners, and affiliated organizations.
  • Manage external provider access models and ensure appropriate security, access controls, and user provisioning.
  • Partner with Radiology, IT, clinical operations, and vendor teams to identify workflow gaps, prioritize enhancements, and implement solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for platform issues, upgrades, change requests, and system improvement initiatives.
  • Support system integrations and interoperability related to imaging platforms, including coordination with interfaces and downstream systems as needed.
  • Monitor platform performance, system health, and user experience; troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce platform standards, governance, and best practices for imaging operations and administration.
  • Lead testing, validation, and implementation activities for upgrades, new functionality, and workflow changes.
  • Builds, owns and maintains related documentation and standard operating procedures, participating in knowledge sharing as it relates to the product services group and their shared responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and security protocols related to imaging systems and access.
  • Support reporting, auditing, and analytics related to platform usage, access, workflow performance, and operational outcomes and ensure radiology services development aligns with the company’s data and analytics strategy
  • Develop ad-hoc and custom reports at the request of the technical, clinic or administrative staff as needed, utilizing third party resources to accomplish as necessary
  • Works closely with the technical services team to maintain SLAs and a high-quality support model
  • Serves as an escalation point for patient experience issues, supporting the technical services group as a trusted resource on fronts both internal and external
  • Effectively communicate with technical services staff, end-users, and executives
  • Provide accurate and timely information to IT leadership and other Tennessee Oncology employees/departments as requested
  • Promote a team atmosphere and maintain good relations with Tennessee Oncology’s internal and external user base and its partners
  • Represent the company at events as necessary

  • Knowledge of technical models as they relate to application support ranging from client/server relationships, externally-facing applications, data/analytics and interfaces
  • Understands radiology, clinical and oncology-specific workflows and their relationship to the patient, provider and payor connected services and applications
  • Superior capacity to track and manage multiple projects
  • Critical thinking and able to work on intricate and transformative endeavors with the ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issues

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years working in an healthcare setting, technical or clinical
  • 3+ years of experience supporting or working in Clinical Information Systems in an administrative or superuser capacity

Oncology research is the largest area of new drug development. Self -administered medications, those taken by mouth or injected by the patient, comprise approximately 40% of these investigative medications. Tennessee Oncology’s in house pharmacy, Park Pharmacy, stocks oncology and hematology medications not readily available at community retail pharmacies. A URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Park provides insurance and benefits investigation, prior authorization services for insurance coverage, co-pay assistance through manufacturer or foundation programs, extensive medication education, and access to a pharmacist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
