The MRI Technologist plays a key role in ensuring ARISE patients receive responsible, compassionate care. This position performs high-quality, comprehensive MRI studies as ordered by veterinarians, assists with patient data entry and study setup, and provides patient restraint as needed. The MRI Technologist also supports the cleaning and maintenance of the MRI equipment and general stocking of the MRI areas, and, as time permits, assists and trains in other areas of the hospital. This role suits a dependable, team-oriented person with strong time-management skills who can prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
ARISE is a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital with some of the most skilled doctors in the state, providing significantly complex treatments in the western US. As part of Ethos Veterinary Health, our clinical team works closely with a neurologist, internist, dermatologist, oncologist, and surgical team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. As MRI Technologist, you'll be central to advanced diagnostics across these services, with the opportunity to cross-train across MRI, CT, and digital radiology and to help mentor other technicians.
This role involves standing and walking throughout the shift, repetitive use of the hands, the ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance, and working in a clinical environment that includes exposure to radiation, cleaning agents, and potentially infectious patients.
