The staff Diagnostic Technologist works under the supervision of the Radiology Manager: Performs general radiographic examinations; receives and reviews patient radiology requisitions for diagnosis and examinations requested; selects and operates a variety of x-ray equipment; positions patients and determines radiation exposure factors; assists Radiologist during fluoroscopic examinations; performs film quality control; releases patients; performs miscellaneous related duties; exercise general supervision of the X-Ray Students; performs other duties as assigned. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area.
Employment Type: Part Time every other weekend Alt (36 hours every two weeks) with potential to pick up additional hours.
Schedule: Every other Friday 11a-11p, Saturday and Sunday 7p-7a
Weekend Frequency: Every other weekend (four weekend request off a year)
Cross Training Opportunities: CT (Computed Tomography)
Requirements:
-Associates Degree in a related field
-RRT Certification
-BLS-CPR through the American Heart Association
