Baptist Health Louisville is seeking to hire a Radiology Clerk PRN The Radiology Clerk is responsible for the clerical workflow in the Radiology department. This job entails handling the check in process for all outpatients, coordinating information for all patient exams and ensuring patient exam results are finalized and funneled to the appropriate persons. Problem solving and superior customer service is a focus of this position. Some of the duties include:
The clerk performs front desk, report room, film library, and EPIC/IMPAX duties including checking patients in, transcribing orders, obtaining consents, and scanning documentation. Faxes and corrects radiology reports, prepares outside images for radiologist review, and delivers departmental mail. Answers phones professionally, processes imaging requests, tracks QC and STAT exams, coordinates multi‑modality testing, assists radiologists with calls, and ensures timely exam readings using EPIC and IMPAX systems.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare/customer service setting preferred.
