The Department of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP), a Harvard Medical School affiliate, is seeking multiple candidates to join our HMFP Breast Imaging Section.

We are seeking outstanding multiple individuals to participate in the clinical service, research and educational missions of the breast imaging program. Our group is responsible for ensuring timely, high-quality, and efficient imaging services, managing to optimize resource and physician productivity, and serving as the radiology physician leader in the integrated Breast Oncology Program. Our team values close, collaborative relationships with referring services, and our contributions to breast care multidisciplinary conference are held in high regard by our clinical colleagues.

The breast imaging team is comprised of Harvard Medical faculty members, clinical and research fellows, rotating radiology residents, and advanced practitioners and patient navigators, and provides the spectrum of diagnostic and screening services.

As a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, BIDMC and the Department of Radiology, provide a clinically advanced and supportive academic environment for residents, fellows, and faculty. We’re also proud and excited to be an integral part of the landmark collaboration among Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England’s only freestanding adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will provide unparalleled opportunities for radiology and other physician specialties to be part of DFCI’s internationally recognized cancer team. This position will be the future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multi-specialist team at DFCI, once the BIDMC-DFCI collaboration is complete.

Candidates for this position must be board-eligible/ board-certified in diagnostic radiology and must be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Fellowship training in breast imaging is required. Candidates should be eligible for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School; salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Pay Range:

$460,000 - $500,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
