Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and highly motivated Full Time Radiologic Technologist to join our team!

  • This position works closely with orthopedic spine and pain management physicians to provide high quality diagnostic orthopedic X-rays while maintaining efficient patient flow and delivering excellent patient care.
  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and effectively managing responsibilities within a clinical environment.
  • Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities

  • Performs imaging procedures independently by interpreting the order, assessing the patient, completing necessary paperwork, positions the patient, selecting appropriate equipment and supplies, selecting accurate technique factors, making exposures, processes, critiques and prepares films for interpretation.
  • Transportation of patients as needed to and from the Imaging service area.
  • Practices radiation safety techniques.
  • Exhibits exceptional team work and patient care skills necessary for an efficient patient centered Imaging facility.

Requirements

  • Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCRET) preferred.
  • One year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic radiography required.
  • Experience with EPIC helpful but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
