The Radiography Program Instructor position will be responsible for instruction and assessment of student activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides effective student learning in face to face, online,or hybrid learning environment.
  • Participates in development and delivery of course curriculum.
  • Participates in development and delivery of student learning assessments and measurement of student performance.
  • Participates in development and revision of course materials.
  • Schedules and evaluates students in clinical and observational settings.
  • Participates in new candidate interviews and recommend acceptance in the program.
  • Provides coaching/counseling to students within the scope of their position.

Other Functions:

  • Attends and participates in department meetings and in-services.
  • Presents a positive image of the organization.
  • Maintains appropriate credentials needed for clinical practice and ensures a current copy is maintained in department/hospital files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description:

Education:

  • bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field.

Experience:

  • 5-years’ experience as a General Radiographer

Certification:

  • ARRT Registered
  • KY Radiation Operator certification (KBMIRT)
