Job Description

Radiographer I/II (at the rank of Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager) in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (Ref.: 534256) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, and be registered as a Radiographer with the Hong Kong Radiographers Board, with at least one-year relevant experience. Experience in MRI, NM, CT or PET/CT would be an advantage. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese); excellent interpersonal, communication and patient handling skills; and be empathic. The department is equipped with the state-of-the-art PET-CT and MRI scanners.

The appointee will assist in performing the PET-CT and CT scans, and MRIs for diagnosing illnesses and conditions. On-the-job training will be provided if necessary. He/She may be given the opportunity for continuing professional development.
