About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Radiographer to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI (1.5T), CT (64-slice & 256-slice), C-Arm, and X-ray, while ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and strict compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain MRI, CT, X-ray, and C-Arm equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Review and validate images for clarity and diagnostic value before submission to physicians.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to support accurate interpretation of results.
  • Maintain patient records, reports, and imaging documentation in line with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Apply appropriate radiation protection and safety protocols for patients, staff, and self.
  • Conduct routine quality assurance (QA) checks and coordinate equipment servicing and maintenance.
  • Support interventional radiology and surgical procedures requiring imaging guidance.
  • Train and mentor junior radiographers and interns when required.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigeria Society of Radiographers (NSR), Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN), and Federal Ministry of Health standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Radiography (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN)
  • 35 years of proven experience operating MRI (1.5T), CT (64/256-slice), X-ray, and C-Arm
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiographic positioning.
  • Proficiency in advanced imaging technology and equipment handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure patient safety, radiation protection, and infection control
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties
  • Additional training/certification in MRI/CT imaging will be an added advantage.
