About this Role – Radio Technician
We are looking for a talented Radio Technician who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for performing the installation, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and systems, and any additional associated infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
-Install, configure, test, and maintain communication systems on job sites
-Install, configure, test, and maintain Digital Radios, GPS, Cameras, and ELD devices
-Perform diagnostics tests on communication equipment and systems
-Document and report accurate services records
-Communicate with project managers to ensure that projects remain on schedule and services are completed in a timely fashion
-Provide support to all end users in the field to ensure communication lines are active throughout project progress
What You’ll Bring
-High school graduate (Education beyond high school preferred)
-1-3 years of experience in radio technology installation and service and/or 1-3 years of automotive wiring experience
-Basic understanding of 12- & 24-volt systems
-Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
-Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time
-Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
-Ability to communicate with employees and vendors and exchange accurate information in these situations
-Familiarity with electrical codes, construction safety practices, and blueprints
-Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
