Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in delivering N&T Sub-System Radio specifications and architecture, ensuring they align with the System Delivery Plan and supporting deployment activities such as installation, testing, and commissioning. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., installation teams, cybersecurity teams, power experts), develop and refine Radio Design requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture, but also support functional validation and deployment activities.
We’ll look to you for:
Elaborating N&T Radio Design specifications and architecture (Preliminary Design & Detailed Design) in line with contractual requirements and N&T Engineering rules
Developing and eliciting Radio Design requirements, with a focus on Radio spectrum management and Cybersecurity concerns
Studying country-specific spectrum standards/regulations for RF product usage
Identifying specific technology requirements or gaps in collaboration with Product Architects
Ensuring all N&T Radio Design processes adhere to Quality processes and project milestones
Preparing and executing Radio Interference surveys, trackside surveys, train surveys, and coupling tests

BE/Master’s degree in Engineering
10+ years of relevant experience in Design/Engineering
Experience of radio deployments in industrial environments, including interference mitigation
Knowledge of WiFi protocols (802.11a/b/n/ac) and 4G/LTE
Proficiency with monitoring tools and techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzer, IP analyzer, MIB principles)
Strong understanding of Radio propagation and solutions
Experience with IT/Supervision and signaling/system architecture (desirable)
Excellent interpersonal and technical coordination skills
Resilience, rigor, and a process-oriented mindset
Team player with a results-driven approach
