Job Description

To assist in providing daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments. In addition, Radiation Therapy Aide may be required to cover Proton practice, Photon practice, assist in dressing rooms or at the front desk. These varying positions require shift work.

Requires an associate's degree in Radiography or graduate from a two year Radiography degree in a JRCERT accredited program. This job requires the employee to be accepted into the Radiation Therapy program at Mayo and maintain student status for the duration of the position. The Radiation Therapist Aide job requires the ability to learn and apply complex procedures, knowledge of Radiation Oncology, and good communication/interpersonal skills.
