We treat over 5,000 patients annually, offering everything from photon and proton therapy to brachytherapy, orthovoltage, gamma knife, and intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT).

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver precise, compassionate care to cancer patients through radiation therapy.
  • Perform treatment simulations and mentor the next generation of RTTs through clinical instruction.
  • Take part in advanced procedures such as IORT, brachytherapy, simulation, orthovoltage
  • Participate in care team meetings, interdisciplinary communication, and scheduling.
  • Be flexible—coverage may include multiple Rochester or regional sites, on-call duties, shift work, and mandatory overtime when needed.

Shift Differential: Weekday Evening$1.90Weekday Night$2.50Weekend Day$2Weekend Evening$3.90Weekend Night$4.50

The Radiation Therapist job requires at minimum associate's degree and successful completion of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy.

Additional Qualifications

Previous experience as an R.T.T. including Photon and Proton treatments, daily imaging, and simulation procedures would be beneficial however, not required.

License or Certification

Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required at time of hire or within 2 months of start date.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 2 months of start date.
