Administers radiation treatments and simulations per physician prescriptions, ensuring accurate setup and documentation.
Communicates care plans across clinical teams and educates patients and families on treatment goals and procedures.
Maintains treatment schedules, performs charge captures, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
Operates radiation therapy equipment, performs body contouring, and fabricates treatment devices.
Assesses referrals and medical histories to determine patient needs in acute and inpatient rehab settings.
Delivers patient-centered care, recognizing physical, psychological, and cultural needs.
Identifies and responds to behavioral health concerns, abuse, or neglect.
Supports a teaching environment through student engagement and continuous learning.
Associates degree required (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Must be licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy
