Looking for a flexible role where you can make a real impact? Join GenesisCare as a casual Radiation Therapist at our Maitland integrated cancer centre.

In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in delivering safe, precise, and high-quality radiotherapy treatments. Your expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will directly contribute to positive outcomes and meaningful patient experiences.

More specifically, you will:

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy.
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
• Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state-specific requirements apply).
