We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) BC/BE Radiation Oncologist for our Comprehensive Cancer Center team. This position will focus on outpatient care but includes occasional inpatient consults.

About the DepartmentWe are a highly collaborative and integrative group with two radiation oncologists, all surgical subspecialties, palliative care, genetics, mental health, and a survivorship clinic run by an APP. We have 5 Oncologists and multiple Oncology Nurse Practitioners who provide patient care in our cancer center.Our Cancer Center has long-standing partnerships with the Metro Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium (a nonprofit research program sponsored by the National Cancer Institute), participating community hospitals and clinics, and with the Cancer Trials Support Unit. As a result of these affiliations, patients receive access to the newest therapies available for cancer treatment, symptom management, and cancer prevention.Advanced treatment capabilities include external beam radiation therapy bringing highly specialized, precision-based cancer care to the local community.We have 1 external beam radiation unit Varian True Beam® with micro-MLCs, CT simulator on site. We also offer a variety of external beam treatment options: 3D, IMRT with Rapid Arc®, VMAT SRS, SRT and SBRT and Hyper ARC. We have an active stereotactic radiotherapy program. We also offer Radio-isotope therapy for Thyroid cancer and bone Metastases including Sr-90, and Xofigo.We have 2 dosimetrists, 2 Nurses and 4 Therapists to help care for our patients.
