JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3468048 Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiation Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Beckley, WV Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 – Nov 01, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Days, 3 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks per month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: 3 new consults daily; Tuesdays: 18-25 patients FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Reason for Coverage: Retirement coverage REQUIRED PROCEDURES HDR JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active WV license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology required DEA: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide radiation oncology consultations and develop treatment plans for new and existing patients. Administer radiation therapy including HDR brachytherapy procedures. Supervise radiation therapists, APPs, and RNs in the cancer center. Manage patient census of approximately 3 new consults daily and 18-25 patients on Tuesdays. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive cancer care.
