JOB OVERVIEW

FACILITY INFORMATION

  • EMR System: EPIC

  • Patient Demographics: Adult

  • Patients per day: Treatment volumes average 14 patients daily, approximately 8 consults per week and 20 follow ups

  • Hospital Bed size: 100

  • Support Staff: Oncology certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, 4 radiation therapists averaging over 25 years of experience.

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

  • Temporary Privileges Available: Available only for true urgent needs; must be approved at the beginning of the process; for non-complex / clean files only

  • Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses: PA license or IMLC LOQ

  • Board Certification: BC or BE in Radiation Oncology

  • DEA: PA address required

  • Minimum Experience Required: 1 year

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Normal radiation oncology operations (clinic, inpatient consult although very few) participation is tumor board, chart rounds

  • Ensure all clinical documentation meets facility standards.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures regarding patient safety and radiation protocols.
