As a Radiologic Technologist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports exceptional patient care across all age groups — from pediatrics to geriatrics.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative and experienced team, using advanced imaging technology to perform a wide range of diagnostic exams. This is more than just taking images — it’s about bringing compassion, precision, and professionalism to every patient interaction.
Perform high-quality radiographic studies in accordance with physician requests and established protocols.
Operate radiographic and related imaging equipment (including CR & PACS systems) with accuracy and confidence.
Ensure safety and radiation protection for patients, self, and staff using appropriate shielding and collimation.
Participate in rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday schedules — demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Maintain accurate electronic documentation using RIS and PACS systems.
Provide safe and effective care to patients across the lifespan, adapting to their unique needs.
Practice Infection Control following Universal Precautions and hospital safety standards.
Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or AAS in Radiologic Technology.
License: Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license (required).
Certification: ARRT certification (preferred).
Experience: Completion of a 24-month radiologic program with a strong foundation in diagnostic procedures; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is a not-for-profit health system that provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate New York. Finger Lakes Health is comprised of Geneva General Hospital, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, The Homestead at Soldiers & Sailors, Huntington Living Center and the Living Centers at Geneva – North and South. Services are provided on three campuses located in Geneva, NY (Ontario County), Waterloo, NY (Seneca County) and Penn Yan, NY (Yates County). The 660-bed health system is governed by a common Board of Directors and is served by a common management team. With 85 active staff physicians, the health system offers a broad range of primary, specialty and sub-specialty services to residents of the Finger Lakes region. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. Discounts for essential services at our outpatient clinics are offered based on family size and income.
