We are looking for an experienced R2R Lead Analyst to oversee the end-to-end service delivery in the R2R function, provide general accounting support in line with IFRS, including preparation and posting of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet accounts, completion of the month end closing transactions and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are appropriately reconciled.
Responsibilities
·Create, distribute, and maintain the standard GL and intercompany transaction.
·Manage accrual process, books amortization of prepayments, clear open GRIR transactions, record cost allocation, and perform depreciation runs.
·Set settlement rules and runs programs over ERP.
·Check, support and monitor month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
·Responsible for preparation and posting of journal entries.
·Ensure data integrity and prepare financial information as required, in accordance with expected accuracy, timeliness and accessibility.
·Perform the periodic close of general ledger which includes preparing and maintaining the close schedule, scheduling of subsystem feeds, making materiality decisions on closing entries and communicating to customers when the monthly trial balance is finalized.
·Maintain accountability for the standard chart of accounts and for the preparation of account analysis/reconciliations on a timely basis.
·Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
·Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
·Meet or exceed customers SLA.
·Identify and present solutions for process improvement.
·Ensure compliance with applicable rules, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
·Bachelors degree in accounting
·6-9 years of accounting experience.
·Advanced degree (CPA, CMA, ACCA or IFRS) in accounting is a plus.
·Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
·Solid accounting and reporting skills.
·Must have exceptional attention to details.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
·Able to work under pressure
