
Leidos Chief Information Office Services (CIO Services) is the internal Information Technology (IT) delivery organization supporting 50,000 employees globally and the customers that Leidos serves. CIO Services is seeking a Technology Enablement & Technical Documentation Intern who will help translate complex cloud and infrastructure capabilities into clear, usable, and scalable documentation that improves productivity across sectors. The successful candidate will work alongside cloud engineers, architects, and process specialists to document solutions, standardize best practices, and enhance knowledge sharing across CIO Services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with cloud engineers and specialists to document architectures and solutions deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
Develop and maintain technical documentation including:
Architecture overviews
Implementation guides
Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Knowledgebase articles
Process workflows
Support SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices by documenting team processes, ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives
Translate infrastructure-as-code and cloud configurations into clear written guidance and reusable documentation templates
Identify repeatable patterns in cloud deployments and create standardized documentation to promote consistency and reuse
Assist in improving internal knowledge repositories, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and up to date
Basic Qualifications:
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Us citizenship required
Cumulative GPA: 3.3 or above
Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Basic familiarity with scripting or programming concepts
Understanding of operating systems (Windows or Linux)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks on schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating technical documentation or process documentation
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Exposure to Agile or SAFe methodologies
Experience with documentation tools, collaboration platforms, or knowledge management systems
AWS or Azure coursework or certification a plus

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
