About the work
Our client is building a library of real-world professional workflow recordings focused on QuickBooks Online.
We are looking for experienced Bookkeepers, Accountants, or Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialists who actively use QuickBooks Online as part of their day-to-day professional work.
The goal of this project is to capture realistic workflows showing how accounting professionals use QuickBooks Online to manage routine financial operations. This may include bank reconciliation, creating and managing invoices, configuring bank rules, reviewing transactions, and generating Profit & Loss reports by class.
There is no teaching or formal presentation required. You’ll simply record your screen while performing typical QuickBooks Online workflows and narrate what you are doing.
Responsibilities
- Record 4–5 screen captures demonstrating real QuickBooks Online workflows
- Perform bank and account reconciliation workflows
- Create, review, and manage customer invoices
- Create and apply bank rules for transaction categorization
- Review and categorize banking transactions
- Generate and review Profit & Loss (P&L) reports by class
- Demonstrate common accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Navigate QuickBooks Online as you would during normal day-to-day work
- Narrate your actions while completing each workflow
- Ensure recordings demonstrate realistic professional accounting practices
Example workflows
A recording may demonstrate:
“Reconcile a bank account in QuickBooks Online by reviewing imported transactions, matching them against existing records, resolving discrepancies, and confirming the final reconciliation.”
Other recordings may demonstrate creating invoices, setting up bank rules, categorizing transactions, managing receivables, or generating a P&L report by class.
Required experience
- Currently working as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, or similar role
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Actively use QuickBooks Online as part of your current professional role
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation, invoicing, and transaction management
- Familiarity with bank rules and financial reporting in QuickBooks Online
- Comfortable recording your screen while performing accounting workflows
- Able to clearly narrate your actions while completing each task
- Based in India
Nice to have
- Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience managing accounts for multiple businesses or clients
- Experience with AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with class tracking and P&L reporting
- Experience creating or maintaining accounting workflows and processes
