Tomlinson is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Materials Group as a Quarry Worker. This hands-on role supports the daily operation and maintenance of the crushing plant through equipment operation, general labour, housekeeping, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and willing to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment while contributing to the efficient production of aggregate materials.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Make sure crusher is in working orderOperate Skid SteersWork quickly, efficiently and safely to fix problem when crusher shuts downDaily check of crusher, grease the Canica, change grease cartridgesClean the jaw and cone crushersClean screens and hoodsClean around the crushing plantMeasure, count and change screensShovel under crusherShovel Canica deckClean toolsPut scrap awayPrepare tools and equipment for maintenancePerform maintenance on equipment when plant is shut downMiscellaneous jobs assigned by Quarry ForemanOperate rock truck and loader as required
REQUIREMENTS: Valid G-Class driver's licence.Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour.Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.Ability to work safely in a fast-paced quarry environment.Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Previous labour, construction, quarry, or heavy equipment experience is an asset but not required. COMPENSATION INFORMATIONThe expected salary range for this position is $25.00- $30.00 per hour. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
