Quarry Operative

Location: Builth Wells

Are you looking for a practical, hands‑on role in a fast‑paced operational environment? We are seeking a committed and safety‑focused Quarry Operative to join our hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, work with a variety of plant equipment, and progress within a respected industry leader.

About the Role

As a Quarry Operative, you will play a key part in supporting the safe and efficient running of the quarry. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating static plant in a safe, efficient and fully compliant manner, in line with your certifications

  • Operating smaller mobile plant as directed by Site Management

  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks to support the smooth running of plant equipment

  • Assisting with operational duties across the main processing plant

  • Following all safety, environmental and operational procedures

  • Supporting additional tasks within the scope of the role as required by Site Management

  • Safety‑conscious and committed to working to high operational standards

  • Capable of operating plant machinery confidently and responsibly

  • Willing to undertake a variety of tasks across the site

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

  • Eager to learn and develop within the quarrying and aggregates sector

Plant operation experience is beneficial, but full training support can be provided for the right candidate.
