We’re looking for a Quarries Administrator to join our team in Gisborne. You’ll keep quarry administration running smoothly, manage docket and invoicing processes, and help deliver the Good Work Fulton Hogan is known for.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

This is a busy, hands-on admin role supporting our quarry operations in Gisborne. You’ll be at the centre of the paperwork, systems, and coordination that keep things accurate, on time, and moving. From processing dockets and reconciliations through to supporting customers and site teams, your work will make a real difference every day. You’ll join a team that is flat, friendly, and serious when it counts, with the backing to grow and improve how things are done.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Manage quarry dockets and enter data accurately into our accounting systems within required timeframes.

  • Prepare sales invoices, credits, and internal recharges.

  • Complete monthly docket reconciliations and provide customer tallies as required.

  • Maintain quarry records, filing systems, price lists, and communication around pricing updates.

  • Support resource consent reporting and provide day-to-day administration support to quarry leaders and teams.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administration or accounts support role.

  • Experience with JDE or similar accounting systems is an advantage.

  • Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and confidence balancing accuracy with deadlines.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, with clear written and verbal communication.

  • A Class 1 driver licence
