We are seeking a Quantum Systems Stability & Sensitivity Engineer to support electronics rack assembly, instrumentation integration, RF hardware installation, networking setup, and lab operations for quantum hardware test environments. This role focuses on building and maintaining clean, repeatable room-temperature rack configurations, supporting instrument bring-up and debug, and collaborating closely with electrical, RF, controls, software, and lab operations teams.

Responsibilities
Assemble, cable, label, and maintain room-temperature electronics racks used for laboratory instrumentation, control, readout, and test infrastructure.
Install and configure rack-mounted instruments, power distribution, RF hardware, cabling, patch panels, network-connected equipment, and supporting peripherals according to documented procedures.
Operate lab tools and equipment in accordance with ESD, safety, and basic electronics lab best practices.
Support rack bring-up and first-line debug for instrumentation, RF signal paths, control hardware, networked equipment, and software-controlled measurement setups.
Use Python 3.x scripts, tools, and custom libraries to support instrument control, configuration checks, automation, data collection, and troubleshooting.
Apply familiarity with DHCP and networking best practices to assist with network configuration, connectivity checks, addressing issues, and escalation of instrumentation network problems.

Hardware Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
