Job Title: Production Support Engineer - Bangalore - Pune - Hyd

Location: Bengaluru,Pune, Hyd

Hybrid Mode - 3 days WFO (Tues, Wed, Thurs) per week

Shift Time: 24*7 Rotational Shifts

Production Support Engineer (Summit / Quantum / Treasury Applications)

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to provide Level 1 (L1) support for critical Treasury and Financial applications, including Summit, Quantum, and other Treasury platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production support, batch monitoring, incident management, UNIX/Linux, SQL, and Oracle technologies within a banking or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 Production Support for Summit, Quantum, or Treasury applications.
  • Monitor overnight batch jobs and start-of-day/end-of-day processes.
  • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate production incidents within SLA timelines.
  • Execute and monitor batch jobs, UNIX shell scripts, SQL scripts, and Oracle stored procedures.
  • Schedule, maintain, and troubleshoot CRON jobs and job scheduling processes.
  • Support application releases, deployments, patch installations, and routine production activities.
  • Perform data uploads, process restarts, and batch re-runs as required.
  • Support daily operational activities and request fulfillment as per standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain production support documentation, operational checklists, and knowledge articles.
  • Record incidents, problem tickets, and service requests using JIRA, Remedy, or similar ticketing tools.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams during production issues.
  • Prepare operational reports and monitor application performance and batch processing status.

Required Skills

  • Experience supporting Summit, Quantum, Treasury Applications, or similar financial platforms.
  • Strong experience in Production Support and Incident Management.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • UNIX/Linux
    • Shell Scripting
    • SQL
    • Oracle Database
  • Experience in batch monitoring and job scheduling.
  • Knowledge of CRON jobs and scheduling tools.
  • Experience with JIRA, Remedy, or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Knowledge of overnight batch processing and financial transaction workflows.
  • Experience supporting production releases and operational activities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices.

Experience

  • 3–7 Years of Production Support Experience.
  • Prior experience in Banking, Treasury, or Capital Markets environments is highly preferred.
