Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for MEP works.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and ELV systems.
  • Develop cost estimates based on material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to clarify technical queries and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Prepare tender submissions, including pricing schedules, technical compliance, and value engineering proposals.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
  • Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client clarifications.
  • Maintain a database of historical cost data and supplier/subcontractor rates.
  • Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Issue RFQs (Request for Quotations) to suppliers and subcontractors for MEP packages.
  • Evaluate quotations based on price, compliance, delivery, and quality

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc. Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial or equivalent engineering degrees
  • 9 –12 years of experience in MEP estimation, tendering, or procurement
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
