We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects . The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, subcontractor management, variations, valuations, and commercial management of projects. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of fit-out and joinery works and be able to manage project costs from tender stage through to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for interior fit-out and joinery works. Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documents to identify quantities and scope. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for projects and tenders. Review tender documents and prepare competitive and accurate quotations. Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and negotiate commercial terms. Prepare and submit interim payment applications and valuations . Monitor project costs, commitments, and variations throughout the project. Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders . Track additional works, omissions, and changes against the contract. Prepare and review subcontractor payment certificates. Assist with final accounts and project close-out. Maintain proper records of contracts, variations, invoices, payments, and commercial documentation. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, procurement teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. Identify potential commercial risks and provide recommendations to management. Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and contractual requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or a related field. 3–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction. Strong Fit-Out & Joinery experience is required . Good knowledge of joinery works, architectural finishes, furniture, ceilings, partitions, flooring, doors, and other fit-out activities. Experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, estimation, tendering, and cost control. Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, valuations, and final accounts. Experience dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings . Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software/tools . AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
