Job Description

XAD Technologies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with hands-on experience in CCTV, ICT, IT Infrastructure, and ELV Projects The ideal candidate will be responsible for project estimation, BOQ preparation, cost analysis, tendering, and commercial management of technology and low-current system projects across Pakistan.

The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of surveillance systems, networking, structured cabling, access control, and ICT infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for CCTV, ICT, IT, and ELV projects
• 
  Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and scope of work for accurate cost estimation
• 
  Prepare project budgets, commercial proposals, and cost plans
• 
  Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for material and cost planning
• 
  Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for commercial comparison
• 
  Monitor project costs and maintain budget control throughout project execution
• 
  Prepare variation orders, claims, and final account reports
• 
  Assist in tender submissions, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
• 
  Conduct site visits and measurements for project assessment and quantity verification
• 
  Maintain records of project costs, procurement, invoices, and commercial documentation
• 
  Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and project standards
• 
  Support management with project cost reporting and financial analysis
• 
  Review specifications related to CCTV systems, networking, structured cabling, access control, and ICT infrastructure
• 
  Participate in project meetings and provide commercial support to project teams

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• 
  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying for CCTV, ICT, IT Infrastructure, or ELV projects
• 
  Strong understanding of CCTV systems, networking, structured cabling, access control, and ICT infrastructure
• 
  Experience in estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, and contract management
• 
  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• 
  Knowledge of local market rates, vendors, and material costing in Pakistan
• 
  Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
• 
  Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• 
  Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• 
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 
  Experience in telecom, IT infrastructure, or security system projects will be an added advantage.
